Physiotherapy

Dartmouth Physiotherapy clinic helps people affected by injury through movement, exercise and manual therapy.  Aiming to restore function by using a comprehensive knowledge of the body’s anatomy, physiology, biomechanics and pathological processes. With this combination of knowledge and clinical reasoning I can evaluate pain and dysfunction to determine how best to resolve it.

I am highly qualified with extensive expertise in soft tissue techniques / joint mobilisation and manipulation.

During your first appointment I will carry out initial subjective, objective and functional assessments. The assessments will involve discussing the history of your present symptoms, checking your posture, joint range of movement, muscle tone, length and strength and, depending on your symptoms, may check your reflexes and sensation. I will give a clear diagnosis, prognosis and discuss the correct treatment outcome that could incorporate a rehabilitation plan that includes injury prevention, hands on therapy and a stretching/exercise program tailored to the your specific needs that can start straight away.
